Sean shares music duties
with cousin James. He is very quiet, with his comments being few. He has
done some interviews by himself and comes across as intelligent and well
natured.
Sean is not the flashest of drummers but has a forceful steady rhythm. He is a human metronome, just think of how he drives along songs like 'Motorcycle Emptiness', 'Faster' and 'A Design For Life'.
He is classically trained in
the trumpet and has used this talent in the songs, 'Kevin Carter' and 'Ocean
Spray'. He is the perfectionist
in the band and is probably the only member fully content with the music since
the disappearance Richey. During
recording for ‘Gold Against The Soul’ he placed microphones outside the barn
to capture the sounds as extra backing for the songs, however ducks kept chewing
them apart.
Sean loves any electrical goods and usually buys countless items when tour. He
also loves computer games especially in the early days when him and James used
sit there for hours and play Sega.
